Sketching the City
Take your pencil and sketchbook in hand and tour the city with SHC art teacher, Mr. Brian McHugh. You will develop an original visual and narrative voice whatever your current artistic ability. Learn or refresh fundamental drawing skills and explore San Francisco from Japantown to Clement Street, from the Mission to Golden Gate Park. These field trips will require minimal walking with periodic stops for discussions, drawing and/or writing. We will meet on location; please bring a lunch and wear comfortable walking shoes.
